Το InnoFin Energy 4 Central Macedonia is a transformative project aimed at significantly enhancing the region’s energy performance and modernising its street lighting infrastructure. Supported by EIB's ELENA Mechanism InnoFin Energy 4 Central Macedonia is a transformative project aimed at significantly enhancing the region’s energy performance and modernising its street lighting infrastructure. Supported by the EIB’s ELENA Mechanism, the investment programme focuses on two main schemes: upgrading 24.700 street lighting points to energy-efficient LED systems and implementing advanced energy efficiency measures in key public buildings, including hospitals and administrative offices. Through these upgrades, the project seeks to reduce energy consumption, lower costs, and improve environmental sustainability across the region.

The total cost of Project Development Services (PDS) is 1,530,000 euros with 1,377,000 euros co-financed by the ELENA Facility of the European Investment Bank.

Στόχος του InnoFin είναι η πρόσδοση θετικού προσήμου στην περιβαλλοντική αειφορία της χώρας, με αισθητή μείωση των περιβαλλοντικών ρύπων και γενικότερα του περιβαλλοντικού αποτυπώματος. Τα έργα που θα επιλεγούν έχουν σημαντική προστιθέμενη αξία σε ό,τι αφορά στην ενεργειακή απόδοση και την περιβαλλοντική βιωσιμότητα, καθώς θα οδηγήσουν σε χαμηλότερα επίπεδα κατανάλωσης ενέργειας για τους Τελικούς Δικαιούχους, ενώ παράλληλα θα συμβάλουν στην επίτευξη των τοπικών, εθνικών και ευρωπαϊκών στόχων που σχετίζονται με την ενεργειακή αναβάθμιση των δημόσιων υποδομών και τη μείωση των εκπομπών αέριων ρύπων.

  • Energy Efficiency – annual total energy saved 36.15 GWh;
  • Renewable Energy – annual total energy generation 0.3 GWh
  • CO2 emissions reduction - 11.021 CO2 equivalent annually
  • Jobs created during project implementation – 246.40 equivalent FTE
